What we do

“The biggest enemy of health in the developing world is poverty.” Kofi Annan

Our Goal is to increase the effectiveness of community-based activities designed to prevent disease, improve health, and enhance quality of life.
Our programs enhance healthy lifestyle by educating communities on topics such as:
HIV/AIDS, Substance Abuse, Mental illness, Nutrition, Reproductive Health and Gender Based Violence

Counselling and Psycho-social Support: We offer Psycho-social support to Gender Based Violence survivors, learners, women and girls in underserved communities

Nutrition: We work towards breaking the cycle of hunger & illiteracy by providing freshly cooked mid-day meals to school going children.

Most children and youth living in poverty lack the resources and supportive environment that they need to excel in school. Because of this, they have a higher chance of dropping out of school or engaging in manual labour at an early age.

To fill this gap, our After School Program provides free tutorials and mentorship for leaners from Grade 7 to Grade 12. The lessons are focused on English, Math, or Science. The program instil discipline and teamwork through various group activities. This is done after school and on Saturday mornings.

The tutors are well-trained in academic delivery, interactive engagement with the children, and the creation of parental connections to establish better results.

Teacher ongoing support programme: We conduct workshops to grow teachers as leaders and empower them to take action in order to increase equitable opportunities for learners.

Cultural Program: The program is offered once a week and on Saturdays. It includes music, poetry and dance.

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Nelson Mandela
“Education is a game changer.” It Enables, It Empowers, It Gives Choice, It Gives voice.”

Spanning the age group of 15 to 34-year-olds, the data from Statistics South Africa, which was released in May 2023, shows that the total number of unemployed youth stands at 4.9 million.

Our Youth Mentoring Program has The Program offers young people with matric certificates aged 18 to 25 years a chance to gain meaningful education and functional vocational and work-readiness skills training.

We offer an integrated learning and vocational model. Annually we recruit and train 200 participants. Young people participate in a holistic personal and professional development and work readiness programme.

On successful completion of the full programme, participants are assisted to apply for jobs at services, retail, hospitality, food and beverage and production sectors.

We prioritise empowering women who disproportionately bear the impacts of climate change, relying heavily on endangered natural resources for their livelihoods. Our initiative aims to enhance women’s resilience to climate-related disasters by facilitating community-based adaptation efforts. Through this program, we work to bolster women’s capacity to cope effectively with the challenges posed by climate change, recognizing their crucial roles as stewards of natural resources and caretakers of families and communities.

“Our life depends on our sustainable environment. Environmental education is a responsibility for everyone.”
